HAPPY NEW YEAR from OZ
Its 2009 here in the Southern Hemisphere .... Happy New Year Northern Hemisphere!! Here in Oz we've just experienced our first Australian New Year ... watched the Sydney fireworks on Internet webcam and television. Supped some alcohol ... and we are now off to bed. Goodbye 2008, we're not gonna miss you. You were merely a stepping stone from our past to our future. A means to an end. Here's hoping that 2009 will not be as bad on a personal level as other years ...only time will tell as they say. Now, if you don't mind ... I'm feeling rather groggy. Whether its the Absinyth or the fact I'm genuinely tired ... I feel really sleepy. You lot in the Northern Hemisphere have around 11hrs and 45 minutes to wait for 2009. We've had the end of year Auld Lang Syne for another year .... night night.
